Application and Mixing
When applying potting mix to your lawn, start by mixing it with the existing soil. Begin with a small area, about 1-2 square feet, and mix the potting mix with the top 2-3 inches of soil. This will help prevent any shock to the existing grass. Gradually increase the area as needed, making sure to maintain an even mixture.
As you experiment with using potting mix on your lawn, keep in mind that it may take some trial and error to achieve the desired results. Be prepared to adjust the application and mixing process based on your lawn’s specific needs and response to the potting mix. With patience and practice, you can successfully incorporate potting mix into your lawn care routine.
